Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high‑quality imaging and support a positive patient experience. You will work within a collaborative radiology team to perform CT exams, ensure safety, and maintain accurate documentation.

The role requires ARRT‑R and ARRT‑CT certifications, BLS, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. A full‑time schedule with a 36‑hour weekday day shift is offered, with benefits and a sign‑on bonus where eligible.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT‑R (Radiography); ARRT‑CT; BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and minimize patient dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders and use two patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Perform exams and administer contrast using sterile technique when needed.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images and ensure finalization in RIS/PACS, including transfers/retrievals.
