Wellstar is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and patient-focused care at Cobb Hospital. You will perform CT exams, maintain imaging quality, and support a collaborative care team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education and certification in radiology as listed.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience required.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications plus BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per guidelines and ensure quality images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and minimize dose (ALARA).
• Maintain rooms/equipment and report issues promptly.
• Verify orders, obtain history, and ensure patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during exams.
• Administer contrast when indicated and maintain sterile technique.
• Position patients, apply markers and shielding, and immobilize as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, restock equipment.
• Organize daily workflow and support department operations.
