Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience on a full-time daytime schedule. You will work within a collaborative care team and apply your radiologic expertise to ensure accurate exams and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography).
• Certifications: ARRT-CT - ARRT Computed Tomography.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Work independently operating imaging equipment with ALARA dose optimization.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety during exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Complete documentation and ensure studies are finalized in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies as needed.
• Restock and maintain rooms/equipment and support department flow.
