Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT, BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA for patient safety.
• Clean, disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; report issues.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and use two unique patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET; address patient questions.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol with proper venipuncture.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and complete final documentation in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and restock life-support equipment as required.
• Organize daily workflows to meet timeframes and support department flow.
