Job summary

The Providence Health Plan Group is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures, ensuring age-appropriate criteria and patient safety. You will collaborate with radiologists, supervise staff, and participate in quality control and improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include serving as a clinical resource, supporting call schedules, and maintaining flexibility in shifts to meet department staffing needs while delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program.
• California Radiologic Technologist license required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association required upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist – Radiography – ARRT required upon hire.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography.

Description

Under the direction of the Department Director, the day‑to‑day supervision of the Lead Technologist and/or Manager and in close collaboration with the Radiologists, the CT Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities according to department standards utilizing age‑specific criteria. Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff. Participates in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities. Serves as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and to the radiologists. Participates in call schedule and remains flexible with job assignments and shifts to meet staffing needs of the department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program.
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist license.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist – Radiography – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center performing pediatric and adult CT scans.
