Providence Jobs in Mission Viejo is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures for pediatric and adult patients at Mission Hospital Mission Viejo. The role requires adherence to department standards and participation in quality control and improvement activities.

You will be a resource to colleagues and radiologists, contribute to call schedules, and adapt to staffing needs with flexible shifts; California licensure and ARRT CT certification expected on hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• California Radiologic Technologist license required on hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required on hire.
• Registered in Radiography by ARRT on hire.
• ARRT CT certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide CT scanning services for pediatric and adult patients following department guidelines.
• Serve as a clinical/technical resource to technologists and radiologists.
• Participate in quality control, performance improvement, and departmental improvements.
• Be flexible with shifts and contribute to call schedules as needed.

Job description

CT Technologist – CT Scan at Mission Hospital Mission Viejo

Under the direction of the Department Director, the CT Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities according to department standards utilizing age‑specific criteria. Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff. Participates in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities. Serves as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and to the radiologists. Participates in call schedule and remains flexible with job assignments and shifts to meet staffing needs of the department.

Responsibilities

Provides CT scanning services, including pediatric and adult CT scans, following the department’s guidelines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program.
• California Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist – Radiography – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography certification within one year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center performing pediatric and adult CT scans.
