Qualified candidates will hold ARRT radiography certification, with CT certification preferred, and an active state license if applicable. BLS required; ACLS preferred. 1–2 years CT imaging experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT radiography certification; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years as Radiologic Technologist; CT imaging experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and CT protocols.

Responsibilities

• Capture diagnostic CT images using CT equipment.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient comfort and radiation protection practices.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,385 - $2,685 per week
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• NOC shifts available
• 36 hrs/wk

Duties

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
