The position includes 13-week contracts with extension possibilities, 36 hours per week, and NOC shifts, with comprehensive benefits. Prior CT imaging experience is highly valued and ARRT credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold ARRT radiography certification and have a radiologic technology degree.
• Active state radiologic technologist license if applicable.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years radiologic tech experience; prior CT imaging exposure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic CT images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and obtain cooperation.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and protective measures.
• Evaluate CT scans for image quality and documentation.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,385 - $2,685 per week
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• NOC shifts available
• 36 hrs/wk

Duties

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
