Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week contract at a partnering hospital in Boston, MA. This position offers 36 hours per week with night shifts available and potential extension based on performance and need.

You will operate CT imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, explain procedures, and maintain high-quality diagnostic scans while delivering compassionate patient care. Competitive weekly pay and full benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography; ARRT CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (where applicable).
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• 1-2 years radiologic technologist experience; CT imaging experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and obtain consent.
• Maintain radiation protection practices and patient comfort.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,385 - $2,685 per week
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• NOC shifts available
• 36 hrs/wk

Duties

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
