Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week contract at a partnering hospital in the Boston area. The role offers 36 hours per week, with NOC shifts and potential extension based on performance and staffing needs.

The candidate will perform CT imaging, ensure patient safety and comfort, and explain scanning procedures while maintaining high-quality imaging standards. ARRT certification and state licensure are required or in transition, with BLS as a baseline credential.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
