Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging with a focus on patient safety and high-quality diagnostic results. You will work within a collaborative radiology team, following ALARA guidelines and ensuring accurate documentation in RIS/PACS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology is required.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications are required.
• BLS from American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines while ensuring diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET; address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and manage documentation in RIS/PACS.
