Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) upon hire required.

• Licensure in state of practice upon hire required.
• IV competency within 90 days required.
• Colorado fluoroscopy certification preferred.
• 1-2 years CT experience in hospital setting preferred (Level I).
• 3+ years CT experience for Level II.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions of the job.
• Understand and operate CT equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and exam preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review and evaluate images for quality, clarity, and accuracy, ensuring all structures are captured.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within established time frames without compromising patient care.
• Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated with advancements in CT technology and participate in education.
• Assist and instruct students and other radiology technologists.
