Job summary

Intermountain Health's Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado, is seeking a CT Technologist to join our imaging team. The role involves CT exams, patient positioning, safety, and ongoing education to maintain ARRT competency and high-quality imaging.

We offer a benefits-eligible, full-time position with a 36-hour weekly schedule (three 12-hour shifts, Monday to Wednesday, 12:00pm–12:30am). Hourly rate ranges from $39.16 to $60.42, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification upon hire is required
• BLS certification within 60 days is required
• State licensure upon hire is required
• IV competency within 90 days is required
• Level II requires at least 3 years of CT experience
• Fluoroscopy certification preferred in Colorado
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images
• Ensure proper patient identification and exam preparation
• Perform exams per department protocol
• Review images for quality and capture all necessary anatomy
• Maintain radiation safety and a safe working environment
• Complete studies within department time expectations
• Provide patient education and address concerns
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with care providers
• Stay updated with CT advancements and participate in continuing education
• Instruct students and other radiology staff on protocols and equipment
