Qualifications

• Registered Computed Tomography Technologist (ARRT) or certification by NMTCB in Computed Tomography acceptable in lieu of ARRT registry.
• State license and, if applicable, license in medical imaging.
• CPR certification.
• Active state driver’s license (for technicians performing mid‑day moves).

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety, including pre‑screening for contraindications to radiation.
• Produce high quality diagnostic CT images.
• Effectively communicate with patients and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or patient coordinators.
• Troubleshoot the CT scanner and associated equipment.
