Job summary

Akumin is seeking a CT Technologist to be responsible for ensuring patient safety during CT studies and performing high-quality imaging tasks. You will train new technologists and communicate effectively with radiologists to facilitate diagnostic processes.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, be a registered CT Technologist, and possess strong customer service and organizational skills. This role may require exposure to outside weather conditions and blood.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience; associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Registered CT Technologist by the ARRT (or NMTCB in lieu of ARRT).
• Active state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety including pre-screening for contraindications.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Troubleshoot the scanner and related equipment.
