Qualifications

• Must be credentialed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist in Texas.
• ARRT radiology certification required or equivalent as permitted by law.
• Prior CT experience and familiarity with contrast screening preferred.
• Commitment to hospital compliance and code of conduct.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Computed Tomography exams and QC procedures as required.
• Evaluate orders with radiologist and ensure correct exam is performed.
• Screen patients for contraindications to IV or oral contrast.
• Interact with hospital staff regarding patient care and concerns; assist in resolutions.
• Maintain performance skills; work weekends, evenings, nights, holidays, overtime, or on-call as needed.
