Job summary

South Texas Health System is seeking a qualified medical professional to perform Computed Tomography exams and ensure quality control procedures. Candidates must be licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) in Texas and hold ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography. You will be responsible for screening patients and collaborating with hospital staff to ensure optimal patient care.

This position holds critical requirements such as BCLS certification and at least two years of prior Computed Tomography and/or Radiographer experience. A commitment to compliance and safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have current BCLS certification.
• 2 years prior Computed Tomography and/or Radiographer experience preferred.
• ARRT Certification (C) in Computed Tomography required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Computed Tomography exams and quality control procedures.
• Screen patients for contraindications for oral or IV contrast.
• Maintain performance skills and interact with hospital staff regarding patient care.
