Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high‑quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You’ll be part of a collaborative radiology team in a busy facility in Georgia, applying ALARA principles to minimize dose while ensuring diagnostic quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 1 year of radiology experience, with ARRT credentials and BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications (or eligible).
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients accurately.
• Explain procedures and prepare patients using AIDET to reduce anxiety.
• Maintain room cleanliness and infection control schedules.
• Document studies in RIS/PACS and manage transfers/retrieval as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies as required.
