Advocate Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist at Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee to perform diagnostic CT procedures with expertise in contrast administration and post-processing. You will ensure patient safety, accuracy of exams, and maintain detailed records.

The role requires ARRT CT certification, Wisconsin radiography license, BLS, and typically 2 years CT experience. Schedule includes evenings and nights with 36 weekly hours and a 2030–0630 shift window.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and radiation safety.
• Proficient in IV and venipuncture (if required by facility).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient service skills to work effectively with physicians, patients and other staff members.
• Ability to work independently.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Certification Addendum and ongoing education requirements for hospital certifications (DNV, CARF, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Operates CT equipment to perform diagnostic procedures, including scrub CT guided invasive procedures and advanced imaging.
• Obtains medical history and verifies orders for exam accuracy.
• Positions patient, selects scanning factors, and maintains radiation safety.
• Prepares and administers contrast media under Radiologist direction and supports scanning techniques.
• Post-processes images and labels files with patient identifiers and location.
• Maintains radiology records, registers studies in the information system, and documents billing codes.
• Identifies equipment issues and performs QA tests and calibration; reports malfunctions.
• Serves as a resource/preceptor for students and staff within the facility and system.
• Collaborates with other departments to educate on patient management after procedures.
• Performs patient positioning and transporting duties with proper technique.
