Job summary

Advocate Health's Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee seeks a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment for complex imaging and assist radiologists with advanced procedures. Must hold Wisconsin radiographer license, ARRT RT and CT registrations, and BLS within 6 months. You will ensure patient safety, document in the RIS, and support the imaging team.

Full-time, 36 hours/week, night shifts Mon-Thu 2030-0630, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Wisconsin Radiographer license required.
ARRT Registered Technologist (RT) and CT registration.
BLS certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Operate CT equipment for basic to advanced diagnostic procedures including CT-guided invasive procedures, angiography, and 3D reformatting.
Obtain medical history and verify orders for exam accuracy.
Position patient, adjust scanning factors, and enforce radiation safety.
Prepare and administer contrast media under Radiologist direction.
Post-process images and label with patient data and scan location.
Maintain RIS records and document billing codes for procedures.
Perform QA tests and report equipment issues.
Act as a technical resource and preceptor for staff and students.
Collaborate with departments to educate on post-procedure care.
Assist with patient positioning and transporting; lift and push/pull as needed.
Provide age-appropriate care per department policies.
