Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (CT) in Milwaukee, WI, to join the Computerized Tomography department for the evening shift. You will prepare patients, set parameters, and ensure patient safety during CT procedures.

The role requires CT certification and State credentials, BLS, and experience with contrast administration, with opportunities for ongoing professional development and advancement within Ascension.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire or transfer date required.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board prior to hire date.
• NMTCB CT Certification or ARRT(CT) certification required in addition to CNMT.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist with Radiography or CT specialty accepted.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope and regulations.
• Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity; monitor and refine protocols.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

ARRT CT credential

NMTCB CT credential

Education

High School diploma or equivalent + 2 years exp

Associate's/Technical degree

4 years of applicable cumulative job experience
