LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional imaging, ensuring accurate data acquisition for diagnosis and treatment. The role emphasizes ALARA principles and patient safety within a clinical setting.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT/NMTCB certification, complete a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology, and preferably possess a related Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Certification required upon hire; new grads must obtain certification before starting.
• Completed Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to work in a clinical environment and adhere to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient identification, prepare patients, document clinical history while ensuring confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize factors, apply ALARA principles for safety and quality.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed; evaluate image quality.
• Assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures and educate/monitor students and staff.
• Ensure data archiving, transfer, and post-processing are properly managed.
