Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using CT and assist licensed practitioners in interventional procedures. Emphasis on accuracy, patient safety, and collaboration with care teams.

The role requires ARRT or NMTCB CT certification upon hire, and a Radiologic Technology program graduate, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. You will work in a clinical setting with strict adherence to policies and ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required upon hire.
• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Proficient in routine and complex CT duties with a strong safety and policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Obtain orders, verify patient identity, prepare patients, and document clinical history with confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize factors, and apply ALARA principles to ensure patient safety and care quality.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications and radiation exposure per policies.
• Evaluate images for quality and positioning, and manage data storage/transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist with interventional procedures as needed.
• Perform CT procedures and participate in quality improvement activities.
