Job summary

Hartford HealthCare in Plainfield, CT is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures according to established protocols, assisting physicians in diagnosis and treatment.

You will select exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields based on patient age and diagnosis, produce cross‑sectional images, and support radiologists in complex examinations with sterile technique.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• Connecticut state Radiographer license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• 6 months experience in a radiology hospital setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of CT technology and venipuncture.
• Accepting new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures according to established protocols.
• Select exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields based on patient age and diagnosis.
• Produce CT images and assist radiologist or physician assistant in complex examinations using sterile technique.
