Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures per established protocols, aiding radiologists in diagnosis and treatment. You will select exposure factors and scan fields to produce technically accurate cross sectional images.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiography program, CT knowledge, venipuncture skills, and an active CT/lifecare license with BLS. PRN/as-needed shifts available at Backus Hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• Connecticut state Radiographer license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 6 months experience in Radiology hospital setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of CT technology and venipuncture.
• Accepting New Grads.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures per established protocols.
• Select exposure factors and scan fields to produce accurate images.
• Assist radiologist or physician assistant during complex CT exams.
• Maintain sterile technique and safety standards during procedures.
