Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's Hartford Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams according to established protocols, selecting exposure factors and scan fields while considering patient age and diagnosis to produce high-quality cross-sectional images.

You will assist Radiologists in complex CT exams, maintain sterile technique, and contribute to patient safety, comfort and throughput across shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• Connecticut state Radiographer license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• 6 months experience in Radiology; Accepting New Grads

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures following established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment.
• Select correct exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields while considering patient age and diagnosis to produce technically accurate cross-sectional images.
• Assist Radiologist or Physician's Assistant in complex invasive CT examinations using sterile technique and producing CT images.
