Supplemental Health Care is hiring CT Technologists for contract opportunities at a partnering Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. The role focuses on imaging using CT equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality scans.

The candidate should have ARRT certification, BLS, and 1–2 years of radiologic technologist experience, with CT experience preferred. Travel assignment offers 40 hours per week with nights and 15 weeks, with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
