Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a licensed CT technologist to perform CT scan examinations and maintain precise patient records in a fast-paced environment. You will establish IV access for contrast, ensure image quality, and manage scheduling and urgent exam requests.

The role requires Massachusetts licensure and ARRT certification, with travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton as needed. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication with patients and families, accurate billing and paperwork

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification in diagnostic CT.
• Massachusetts licensure to practice radiology.
• Deliver quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scan examinations appropriate to patient age.
• Gather clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
• Complete all records, paperwork and billing accurately.
• Position and transfer patients safely for imaging.
• Complete exams and perform quality control on images.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with urgent exams.
• Establish IV access for contrast as directed.
• Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton as scheduled.

Job description

• Properly performs all CT scan examinations appropriate to the age of the patient
• Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records
• Accurately completes all records, paperwork and billing
• Positions and transfers patients appropriately
• Completes exams, performs QC on images
• Assists in maintaining an orderly inventory of necessary supplies
• Assists with urgent exam requests and scheduling
• Establishes IV access for contrast injection as directed
• Travels between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton as scheduled

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiological program
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or NMTCB certified in diagnostic CT
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting
• Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and families
