Position Summary

Under general supervision of the CT Manager, and following established policies and procedures, operates a CT (computed tomography) scanner to obtain images for use by physicians in diagnoses and treatment of pathologies. The technologist provides technical and ancillary support to the department mission through demonstrated clinical and academic competency in CT. Clinical and academic competency is defined as completing training, meeting all clinical responsibilities in assigned areas, working unsupervised in the clinical setting, rotating to all areas as needed, and holding appropriate licensure and advanced certification as required by the ARRT, ACR, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Schedule

FT 40Hr Sun-Wed, with shifts as follows:

• Sunday & Monday: 7 PM - 7:30 AM
• Tuesday & Wednesday: 3 PM - 11:30 PM

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology.
• CT Specialty required or obtained within one year of employment.
• BLS or CPR certification required.
