Qualifications

• Complete a formal radiologic technology program.
• Hold current Washington radiologic technologist licensure.
• Obtain BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Earn national registered technologist certification in radiography.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and patient care procedures with CT scanner.
• Utilize power injectors and monitoring equipment.
• Administer IV contrast as directed by the physician.
• Engage in team-based patient care.

Job description

Performs a variety of technical and patient care procedures that require independent judgment utilizing a multi-slice CT scanner. Utilizes power injectors and monitoring equipment. Starts IVs and administers IV, oral, or rectal contrast at the direction of the physician onsite. Provides exemplary customer service. Participates and is engaged in a team framework and maintains a positive approach and attitude. Continues to use their radiology technology experience doing diagnostic X-ray and Fluoroscopy work.

Required Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program
• Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
• Within 1 year of Hire:
  • National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography --or--
  • National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with one-year in a CT Scan department preferred
