Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Seattle seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join their team at Swedish Cherry Hill. The role involves performing a variety of technical and patient care procedures using a multi-slice CT scanner and ensuring exemplary customer service. Candidates must have completed a formal radiologic technology program and possess a valid Washington license. Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program.
• Current Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography certificate upon hire.
• Must obtain CT certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and patient care procedures using a multi-slice CT scanner.
• Administer IV contrast and start IVs as directed by the physician.
• Engage in a team-based care approach and provide exemplary customer service.
• Conduct diagnostic X-ray and Fluoroscopy work.

Job description

Performs a variety of technical and patient care procedures that require independent judgment utilizing a multi-slice CT scanner. Utilizes power injectors and monitoring equipment. Starts IVs and administers IV, oral, or rectal contrast at the direction of the physician onsite. Provides exemplary customer service. Participates and is engaged in a team framework and maintains a positive approach and attitude. Continues to use their radiology technology experience doing diagnostic X-ray and Fluoroscopy work.

Required Qualifications:

• Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program
• Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Associationupon hire
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
• Within 1 year of Hire:
  • National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography --or--
  • National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 yearsof experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with one-year in a CT Scan department preferred
