Job summary

Swedish Health Services is looking for a Radiologic Technologist to perform technical and patient care procedures using a multi-slice CT scanner. Responsibilities include administering IVs, providing customer service, and collaborating with teams for effective patient care.

Job description

Overview

Performs a variety of technical and patient care procedures that require independent judgment utilizing a multi-slice CT scanner. Utilizes power injectors and monitoring equipment. Starts IVs and administers IV, oral, or rectal contrast at the direction of the physician onsite. Provides exemplary customer service. Participates in a team framework and maintains a positive approach and attitude. Continues to use radiology technology experience doing diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy work.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and perform procedures on a multi-slice CT scanner with appropriate independent judgment and safety protocols.
  • Use power injectors and monitoring equipment as required.
  • Start IVs and administer IV, oral, or rectal contrast per physician direction on site.
  • Provide exemplary customer service and collaborate within a team to support patient care.
  • Apply radiology technology experience in diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy as part of the role.
Required Qualifications
  • Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program.
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
  • Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography or National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with one year in a CT Scan department preferred.
