Job summary

Swedish Health Services is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform technical and patient care procedures using a multi-slice CT scanner in Bellevue, WA. The role requires the completion of a radiologic technology program and certifications, including Washington Radiologic Technologist and BLS.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist (Radiography) certification upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of technical and patient care procedures using a multi-slice CT scanner.
• Utilize power injectors and monitoring equipment.
• Start IVs and administer contrast as directed by the physician.
• Provide exemplary customer service and participate in teamwork.

Job description

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of technical and patient care procedures requiring independent judgment utilizing a multi-slice CT scanner. Utilize power injectors and monitoring equipment. Start IVs and administer IV, oral, or rectal contrast at the direction of the physician onsite. Provide exemplary customer service. Participate as part of a team and maintain a positive approach and attitude. Continue to use radiology technology experience for diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy work.

Required Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program
• Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
• National Registered Technologist (Radiography) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
• Within one year of hire:
  • National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography
  • or National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with one year in a CT Scan department preferred

Pay & Incentives

The wage range for this position is $51.26 - $77.94. The successful candidate's placement will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
