Job summary

Sentara Port Warwick in Newport News, VA is seeking a dedicated full-time Dual CT/DX Technologist for the night shift to provide high-quality CT imaging under physician supervision. The role includes administering contrast per protocol and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include following protocol, documenting exams, keeping equipment ready and stocked, and ensuring compliance with radiation safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Trade school graduate in Radiologic Technology is required.
• ARRT or CNMT certification is required.
• Must obtain ARRT CT advanced registry within 2 years of hire.
• BLS certification is required.
• Previous X-ray experience is strongly preferred.
• Previous CT experience is strongly preferred.

• Educate patients and families as needed during procedures.
• Operate CT equipment safely and maintain documentation.

Sentara Port Warwick, located in Newport News, VA, is seeking a dedicated full-time Dual CT/DX Technologist to join our team on the night (3rd) shift.

Up to $30,000 Sign On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates!

Hours

• Monday - Thursday: 10pm - 7am
• No weekends; Call is required

Overview

Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.

Education

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $38.74 - $58.21 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
