Job summary

Sentara Port Warwick in Newport News, VA is seeking a dedicated full-time Dual CT/DX Technologist for the night shift. You will provide high-quality CT imaging, administer contrast, and ensure patient safety while following established protocols.

Qualifications include Radiologic Technology training, ARRT or CNMT certification, and ARRT CT registry within 2 years. CT experience is preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Registered radiologic technologist with ARRT or CNMT certification.
• ARRT CT advanced registry to be obtained within 2 years of hire.
• 2+ years X-ray experience, CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality CT imaging following protocol under physician supervision.
• Administer CT contrast per protocol and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain equipment, documentation, and supply inventory; follow radiation safety guidelines.

Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines.
