Sentara Port Warwick in Newport News, VA, seeks a dedicated Dual CT/DX Technologist for the night shift, 3rd shift, with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Responsibilities include CT imaging, contrast administration, and patient education in a high-standard radiology department.

Required: Radiologic Technology education, ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years, CNMT and BLS, with CT/ X-ray experience preferred. No weekend shifts; call may be required.

• ARRT (Required) and CNMT (Required); ARRT CT advanced registry within 2 years of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality CT imaging under physician supervision per protocol.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and operability; perform routine QA and documentation.
• Administer CT contrast as required and adhere to radiation safety guidelines.
• Support patient education and safety during imaging procedures.

Sentara Port Warwick, located in Newport News, VA, is seeking a dedicated full-time Dual CT/DX Technologist to join our team on the night (3rd) shift.

Hours

• Monday - Thursday: 10pm - 7am
• No weekends; Call is required
  

Overview

Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.

Education

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology(Required)

Certification/Licensure

• ARRT or CNMT (Required)
• Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire
• BLS

Experience

• Previous X-ray experience (Stongly Preferred)
• Previous CT experience (Strongly Preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $38.74 - $58.21 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
