Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital in Halifax, VA is seeking a CAT Scan Technologist II for a full-time night shift to provide quality CT imaging under physician direction, follow protocol standards, educate patients, and document exams.

Qualifications

• ARRT or CNMT certification required; BLS certification required.
• CT registry advancement within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families on procedures and prepare them for imaging.
• Operate CT equipment safely and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Complete department documentation and ensure radiation safety guidelines are followed.

Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines.
