Job summary

Sentara Healthcare Inc. is hiring a CAT Scan Technologist II in Halifax, Virginia for a full-time night shift. A 30K bonus is available to qualified candidates. You will perform CT imaging under physician direction, ensuring protocol adherence and patient safety.

Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, educating patients, maintaining documentation, inventory, and radiation safety, and administering CT contrast as required by protocol.

Qualifications

• Trade School Graduate in Radiologic Technology (required).
• ARRT or CNMT certification is required, BLS.
• Must obtain ARRT CT advanced registry within 2 years of hire.

Sentara is currently hiring a CAT Scan Technologist II in Halifax, Virginia

This is a Full-Time, Night shift opportunity with great benefits.

A 30K bonus is available to qualified candidates.

As a CAT Scan Technologist, you will provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards.

Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician;

Provides patient and family education; Operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational;

Maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines.

Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.

Qualifications:

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology
• ARRT or CNMT is required, BLS
