Job summary

HCA Florida Lake City Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures in accordance with ALARA standards and to optimize image quality for diagnostic interpretation. You will relay images and pertinent information to the physician and contribute to inventory and scheduling efficiency.

Qualifications

• ARRT RT (R); CT certification required
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Florida CRT License required
• BLS/ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
• No experience required; 6 months preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients undergoing CT procedures per ALARA standards
• Operate CT equipment and adjust technical factors for diagnostic quality
• Relay images and clinical information to physicians for interpretation
• Assist with inventory management and patient scheduling; on-call coverage as needed

Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides care for patients requiring CT procedures. Performs all duties directly involved with proceduresutilizingCT for diagnostic procedures and guidance for interventional proceduresin accordance withALARA standards. Operates equipment settingappropriate technicalfactors to produce diagnostic quality images according to radiology practice standards, minimize patient dose, and relay images along with pertinent clinical information to the physician for interpretation.Assistswith inventory management and patient scheduling. Takes on-call as assigned to provide after-hourshigh volumecoverage.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date


• ARRT Registration RT (R); Advanced level certification in CT


• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program


• Florida CRT License


• No experiencerequired; 6 months preferred
