Job summary

HCA Florida Lake City Hospital is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to perform CT procedures, optimize image quality, and minimize patient dose in line with ALARA standards. You will relay diagnostic images to physicians and assist with scheduling and inventory.

On-call shifts may be required to ensure high-volume coverage after hours. The role requires ARRT RT(R), advanced CT certification, Florida CRT license, and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT Registration RT (R); Advanced level certification in CT.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Florida CRT License.
• No experience required; 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides care for patients requiring CT procedures.
• Operates CT equipment and sets appropriate technical factors to produce diagnostic images while minimizing patient dose.
• Relays images and clinical information to the physician for interpretation.
• Assists with inventory management and patient scheduling.
• Takes on-call as assigned for after-hours coverage.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs all duties directly involved with procedures utilizing CT for diagnostic procedures and guidance for interventional procedures in accordance with ALARA standards. Operates equipment setting appropriate technical factors to produce diagnostic quality images according to radiology practice standards, minimize patient dose, and relay images along with pertinent clinical information to the physician for interpretation. Assists with inventory management and patient scheduling. Takes on-call as assigned to provide after-hours high volume coverage.
