HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to provide high-quality CT imaging and patient care. You will operate CT equipment safely, apply ALARA principles, and communicate results to physicians. You will contribute to inventory management and scheduling, and may take on-call shifts as assigned.

The role requires ARRT-R Radiography and BCLS certification, with a degree from an accredited program. The schedule includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.

Qualificações

• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Associate degree or vocational school graduate.

Job Summary

Provides care for patients requiring CT procedures. Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying computerized ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Operates the CT equipment safely and maintains A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing all types of procedures. Operates equipment setting appropriate technical factors to produce diagnostic quality images according to radiology practice standards, minimize patient dose, and relay images along with pertinent clinical information to the physician for interpretation. Assists with inventory management and patient scheduling. Is current in Radiologic (X-ray) positioning and can perform duties of Radiology Tech when assigned. Participates in the establishment of scan protocols and in execution of specific applications, and responsible for contrast administration. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff. Takes on-call as assigned to provide after-hours coverage.

What qualifications you will need:

• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
