Job summary

HCA Florida Lake City Hospital is hiring a Radiology Tech to perform diagnostic X-rays, maintain ALARA safety standards, and support patient care in a busy hospital setting.

You will transmit images to Radiologists for over-reads, assist with patient movement and vital signs, and help ensure clean, stocked exam rooms. Growth opportunities exist in CT and MRI training and advancement within HCA Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Must be accredited by ARRT.
• Must be licensed by the state of Florida.
• Two years of clinical experience in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate X-Rays as ordered by the Provider while practicing radiation safety precautions to include ALARA.
• Prepare and transmit images to the Radiologist for over-read.
• Room patients to include taking and recording vital signs and patient history.
• Assist patients and providers as needed with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam prep, etc.
• Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
• Transport patients as needed.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic Radiology Tech to join our team. Your primary functionis performing x-rays on patients. You will also triage patients and provide other patient care services.You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.
