Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a CT Technologist to join our CT Department at Baptist South. This full-time day position offers a Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm schedule and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000. You will perform high-quality CT procedures, prepare patients, and ensure safety and comfort.

The role requires ARRT (R) and CRT, BLS, and a vocational/associate degree. You will calibrate GE CT equipment, educate patients, and collaborate with radiologists while maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• 1–2 years radiology experience preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per protocols and guidelines.

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity, working Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.

At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

CT Technologist Responsibilities:

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions

Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years Radiology Experience Preferred
• Experience working in a hospital setting Preferred
• Customer Service Experience Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Vocational School or Associate's Degree
• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required

If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARRT within 12 months of hire date.
