Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist for the CT Scan Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This full-time nights role runs Friday–Sunday, 4:30pm–5:00am, with responsibilities including patient preparation, CT imaging, and adherence to safety standards.

Required ARRT (R), CRT, and BLS with 1–2 years radiology experience; vocational school background also noted. Certification in Computed Tomography within 12 months may be required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures per established protocols.

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Full-Time Nights opportunity working Friday-Sunday 4:30pm-5:00am.

At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

CT Technologist Responsibilities:

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions

Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years Radiology Experience Preferred
• Experience working in a hospital setting Preferred
• Customer Service Experience Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Vocational School
• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARRT within 12 months of hire date.
