Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Full-Time CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist South. This role is a Days shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance possible.

Lead CT Technologists focus on delivering high-quality imaging, patient comfort and safety, and compliant practices while operating GE CT equipment and preparing patients for procedures including IV contrast. Collaboration and ongoing education are key to success.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Radiology Experience Preferred
• 3-5 years Experience in a hospital setting Preferred
• Customer Service Experience Preferred
• ARRT Radiography, CRT or ARRT CT credentials required or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Quality and quantity of CT procedures performed
• Assist in staff training, performance and equipment evaluation
• Ensure staff compliance with Employee Health and Mandatory Education requirements
• Maintain ACR Accreditation

Baptist Health is seeking a Full-Time CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at our Baptist South Location. This is a Full-Time Days position working Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.

At Baptist, our Lead CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

Lead CT Technologist Responsibilities:

• Responsible for quality and quantity of procedures performed in CT
• Assists in staff training, performance and equipment evaluation, insures staff compliance with Employee Health and Mandatory Education requirements
• Responsible for maintaining ACR Accreditation

Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years Radiology Experience Preferred
• 3-5 years Experience working in a hospital setting Preferred
• Customer Service Experience Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Vocational School
• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required Or
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required Or
• Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography – ARRT (CT) Required Or
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
