Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join the CT Scan Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time day role operates Sunday 6:30am-7:00pm and Mon-Wed 6:30am-3:00pm, delivering high-quality imaging and patient care in a collaborative hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years radiology experience, ARRT(R) and CRT certifications, and BLS. ARRT CT certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire. Sign-on bonus available up to $15,000.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Radiology experience preferred.
• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• ARRT CT certification required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performing high quality CT procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity working Sunday 6:30am-7:00pm and Monday-Wednesday 6:30am-3:00pm.

At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

CT Technologist Responsibilities

If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARRT within 12 months of hire date.
