Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate standard, portable, and specialized X-ray equipment for diagnostic exams.

You will prepare patients, perform radiographic procedures, process films, and transmit to Radiologist. The role requires ARRT certification and BCLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiographic Technology.
• Should adhere to ARRT guidelines of obtaining 24 continuing education credits bi-annually.
• Must be ARRT Registered with ARRT – RT(R) or Registry eligible (must be registered within one year of completing program).
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Develop and process films and transmit to a Radiologist for interpretation.
• Administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Ensure prompt transfer of images and documents to PACS system (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
• Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Schedule: Thursday-Saturday, 7:00am-7:00pm
