HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a CT Technologist Multimodality PRN at Overland Park Regional Medical Center to perform CT imaging and ensure patient safety and comfort. You will position patients, start IVs for contrast, and optimize image quality while adhering to radiation safety guidelines.

This role emphasizes on-call availability with the ability to report within 30 minutes, and involvement in a team that supports patient-centered care and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• Registered CT Technologist (CT) within 1 year of start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) within 1 year of start date.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of CT experience preferred.
• On-call availability with 30-minute on-site report.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients on the CT table.
• Initiate IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and adjust parameters as needed.
• Provide post-procedure instructions and release patient.
• Prepare room using aseptic technique and sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. What you will do in this role:

• You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

• Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology.
• Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
• On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.
