Job summary

Highpoint Health - Riverview with Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking a CT Technician to join our team on a PRN basis. You will prepare and administer contrast media, monitor patient status, and perform imaging procedures with attention to safety and quality.

The role requires ARRT CT certification (or radiologic technology program) and an associate degree is preferred. BLS is required and CT registry within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT Registry or Radiologic Technology program is required or completed.
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred.
• Certification requirements include Basic Life Support (BLS) and ARRT CT registry (within 1 year of hire).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes.
• Set up equipment and select imaging parameters.
• Follow safety standards and perform QC procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedures.
• Analyze image quality and adjust as needed.
• Enter, transmit and report scan results.
