Job summary

Highpoint Health - Riverview with Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking a CT Technician (PRN) to join our radiology team in Tennessee. The role emphasizes accurate imaging, patient safety, and collaboration with caregivers to deliver high-quality CT scans.

Education includes ARRT/NMTCB accredited Radiologic Technology training; an associate degree is preferred and BLS is required. The position requires CT capabilities and readiness to comply with accreditation standards while supporting patient care

Qualifications

• 1 year of radiology procedures experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT CT registry required within 1 year of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes in status.
• Prepare equipment and select imaging exposure factors.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedures.
• Enter, transmit and report scan results.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform quality control procedures.
